Jackson

Personal Trainer

Jackson Sahota is a certified nutrition coach, personal trainer, Kinesiology student, and sociable individual who loves connecting with people. He has been part of the Eagle Creek Athletic Club team for over four years and considers it his favourite job to date. With a lifelong passion for exercise, health, and sports, Jackson finds great satisfaction in working directly with his community on the subjects he values most.

His approach to wellness is holistic, focusing not only on physical fitness but also on nourishing the body and mind for sustainable, long-term results. At the gym, you can often find Jackson at the front desk, on the training floor working with clients, or pursuing his own fitness goals.

Becca

Personal Trainer

Becca is a CSEP Certified Personal Trainer and a fourth-year Bachelor of Kinesiology student. Having experienced back problems from a young age, she began lifting to improve her posture—an effort that not only reduced her back pain but also introduced her to a supportive and motivating fitness community. Passionate about helping others, Becca enjoys working one-on-one with clients to share the life-changing benefits of fitness.

She specializes in corrective exercise, posture training, and functional movement, designing personalized exercise programs that prioritize safety, effectiveness, and long-term progress. Becca’s goal is to empower clients to feel strong, confident, and at home in the gym.

Spencer

Personal Trainer

Spencer is a dedicated fitness professional with a passion for both physical performance and lifelong learning. Outside of lifting weights and all things gym-related, he enjoys reading books, research papers, and articles—self-described as a “nerd who loves to lift.” A former competitive basketball player, Spencer now plays the sport for leisure while focusing on his academic and professional growth.
His achievements and certifications include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Science
  • Bachelor of Kinesiology (currently in his third year)
  • NSCA Strength and Conditioning Specialist
  • EXOS Performance Specialist

Spencer aspires to become a certified kinesiologist, physiotherapist, or doctor. His ultimate goal is to help as many people as possible reach their health and fitness goals while improving their overall well-being.

Lily

Front Desk Staff

Lily is a fourth-year Kinesiology student at Camosun College, originally from Manila, Philippines. She moved to Victoria to pursue her passion for health, fitness, and movement science, and is currently working toward her CSEP Personal Training certification.

At Eagle Creek Athletic Club, Lily works at the front desk, where her friendly and energetic personality helps create a welcoming atmosphere for members. Outside of work and school, she enjoys going to the gym, longboard surfing, and spending time with friends. A former varsity soccer player, Lily thrives in team environments and loves being part of an active, supportive community.

Bryant

Front Desk Staff

Bryant is a fourth-year Kinesiology student at Camosun College, born in Hong Kong and raised in Victoria. He developed a strong passion for health, fitness, and movement science early in life, thanks to his parents encouraging him to try a variety of sports. Over time, he discovered a particular love for basketball and powerlifting.

At Eagle Creek Athletic Club, Bryant works at the front desk, where his friendly and approachable personality helps create a welcoming environment for all members. Trilingual in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin, he’s passionate about breaking language barriers and helping people of all ages achieve their fitness goals. Bryant is currently working toward his CSEP Personal Training certification and is eager to continue expanding his knowledge in the field of kinesiology.

Eshin

Front Desk Staff

Eshin is a dedicated front desk staff member at Eagle Creek Athletic Club and a passionate fitness enthusiast. Currently a high school student preparing to graduate, he plans to pursue a degree in Kinesiology to further his knowledge of health, movement, and athletic performance.

Eshin works out daily and enjoys staying active both in and out of the gym. A basketball player with a strong work ethic, he brings the same drive and discipline from the court into his fitness journey. Under the mentorship of the club’s personal trainers, Eshin is gaining valuable experience and developing the skills that will support his future career in the fitness industry.

Vala

Personal Trainer

Vala is a certified personal trainer and lifelong fitness and sports enthusiast. Having played soccer from a young age, she developed a deep passion for movement, strength, and athletic performance. Alongside her fitness career, Vala is also pursuing her love of music, bringing creativity and energy into everything she does.

As a trainer, Vala is dedicated to helping clients build confidence and take control of their fitness journey. She focuses on making workouts both effective and enjoyable—often sharing her favorite “bangers” to keep the energy high and motivation strong.
